Accessibility Statement

STLParts is being built so people can find, share, and evaluate printable automotive parts regardless of ability, device, or input method.

Effective September 3, 2026

Our commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. The service is still under active development, so this is a target and ongoing practice rather than a claim that every page has passed a complete independent audit.

Accessibility is considered in product design, development, moderation, and content publishing.

Measures we take

  • Semantic landmarks, headings, lists, buttons, links, and associated form labels.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation and visible focus indicators.
  • Readable text, responsive reflow, sufficient contrast, and large touch targets.
  • Reduced-motion support and alternatives to interaction-only effects.
  • Text equivalents for meaningful images and status labels that do not rely on color alone.
  • Logical reading order even where the visual layout uses editorial overlap.

Supported use

STLParts is designed for current versions of major browsers and common desktop and mobile assistive technologies. Browser zoom and text enlargement should remain usable without requiring horizontal scrolling for ordinary page content.

Known limitations

Interactive 3D previews may not be fully perceivable or operable with every assistive technology. Listings retain a static thumbnail, textual part name, fitment data, print specifications, and a direct download path so the viewer is not the only way to understand or access a part.

Community-supplied images, model files, and descriptions may vary in quality. We review reported barriers and may correct, relabel, or remove content that cannot be made sufficiently accessible.

Accessibility feedback

If you encounter a barrier, email [email protected]. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, your browser or assistive technology if relevant, and the format in which you would prefer a response.

We will acknowledge accessibility reports and prioritize issues that block core catalog tasks.
